Nathan Happenings

I sent this email to my parents yesterday...

Nathan had his 3rd play date with the little girl, Natalia, from down the street.

They played in the living room. Nathan played in his tunnel and showed it off, but apparently Natalia was not interested in joining him. She doesn't crawl as well as Nathan yet. Pam also told me that when Natalia would pick up Nathan's bus, Nathan would take it and start playing with it himself. We will have to work on sharing apparently.
Natalia had a little bow in her hair and Nathan kept trying to take it out.

Lastly, Pam is working in getting Nathan to wave when we say "Bye-bye". He sometimes does, but it is pretty rare. Yesterday when she would say "bye-bye" to him he would crawl over to the garage/back door and stand up and grab the door handle. Apparently he associates "bye-bye" with mommy leaving. Kind of makes me sad.

He also is getting much better at balancing on his own. He will stand up while holding on to an object of some sort and then will let go and just stand on his own. After a few seconds he will sit back down. I don't know if he is really aware of what he is doing yet. He just goes with the flow.

Yesterday I was pushing him in his swing outside. A man with a dog walked by and Nathan immediately pointed at the dog and yelled, "Dohh!". I am pretty sure he was trying to say dog. He points his finger very sternly now and it cracks me up.
